Parliament Shut down wrong

NDP have agreed to allow Liberal government to shut down parliament until mid September after they agreed to grant all workers 10 paid sick days. Despite the fact this falls under provincial jurisdiction and thus no obligation for any province to implement this, I believe closing parliament in these tough times is a bad idea. With government spending $150 billion, it is essential that be scrutinized. As done there can be a skeleton crew on parliament or even done remotely, but government needs to be held accountable. Yes we are all in this together, but often crises are when governments abuse power so its essential opposition be able to hold them accountable and ask questions.
