As most of you will know from my previous posts, I am totally 100% pro-pipeline but I believe the federal government buying the Kinder Morgan Pipeline is a foolhardy decision. This will just cost taxpayers $4.5 billion and make Canada a less attractive place for investment. The proper thing they should have done is declare the pipeline in the national interest which would override the province of British Columbia’s instringency to having it build. Otherwise this just made a bad problem worse.
